What is a poker HUD?
A heads-up display shows statistics about your opponents next to their seats while you play. Ninja HUD builds them from the hand histories your poker client saves on your computer.
Is it allowed on PokerStars?
Ninja HUD is built to stay inside the rules PokerStars publishes for HUDs. It shows plain numerical stats from hands you played yourself. It does not label or rate players, give advice during a hand, or read the memory or the network traffic of the poker client.
Which poker sites are supported?
PokerStars comes first. 888poker, Winamax, iPoker and ACR are planned, each after its rules for HUDs have been checked. Sites that forbid HUDs during play will not get one from us.
Which operating systems are supported?
macOS and Windows. The macOS version comes first, and the Windows version follows once it has been tested on real installs.
Which games can it read?
No Limit Hold'em: cash games, Sit & Gos, tournaments and Zoom. Pot Limit Omaha is planned for later.
Do I need to install a database?
No. The database is part of the app and lives in a single file on your computer. You can back it up, restore it or delete it in Settings.
Can I import my existing hand histories?
Yes. Pick files, folders or zip archives, or drop them on the window. Only hands you played yourself are kept, as PokerStars requires, and any import can be taken back out later.
Where is my data stored?
On your computer. Hands and screen names never leave it, and there is no account to create. The app sends anonymous error reports, which you can switch off.
