Privacy Policy
Draft of 3 October 2026
Ninja HUD is built to keep your poker data on your computer. This policy explains the little personal data we do handle: when you use the app, when you buy a licence, and when you visit this website.
Who is responsible
The controller of your personal data is Denys Dorokhov, a self-employed person registered in the Canary Islands, Spain, tax number Z1530732-H, Ctra. General Puerto Cruz - Arenas 66, PO2/3C, 38400 Puerto de la Cruz. For anything about your data, write to support@ninja-hud.com.
Your poker data stays on your computer
Ninja HUD reads the hand histories your poker client saves and keeps its database on your computer. Your hands, cards, results, statistics and screen names, and those of the players you meet, never leave it. We cannot see them, and there is no account to sign in to.
Licence checks
When you activate a licence, and from time to time afterwards, the app checks it with our licensing service. It sends only the licence key, an anonymous identifier of the computer (a hash, never the computer’s or your name), the app version and the name of the operating system.
We use this to confirm that the licence is valid and active on no more than two computers. The legal basis is the performance of our contract with you.
Error reports
To help us fix crashes and hand histories we cannot read yet, the app sends anonymous error reports to Sentry (sentry.io). A report holds what went wrong and where in our code, the app version, your operating system and its version, your processor type, the poker client and its version, and, for a hand history line we could not read, its shape: the line with every name and number taken out.
A report never holds your hands, cards, results or chat, your screen name or anyone else’s, your name, email, IP address or computer name, or file names that contain your user name. Reports are kept for 30 days.
The app tells you about these reports before sending any, and you can turn them off at any time in Settings. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in making the software work.
Buying a licence
Payments are made through Stripe, which collects your card details, email address, billing country and the information it needs to prevent fraud. Stripe handles them under its own privacy policy (stripe.com/privacy). We never see your card number.
From Stripe we receive your name, email address, country, what you bought and the amount paid. We use them to create your licence, email you its key, renew your updates, answer you and keep the records tax law requires. The legal bases are the performance of our contract and our legal obligations.
Your licence is held by our licensing service, Keygen, with your email address and the reference of your payment. Emails such as your licence key are sent through Resend.
This website
This website has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies. Its fonts are served from our own site, not from a third party.
Your browser remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme, on your device only; we never receive it.
The website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes visitors’ IP addresses to deliver the pages and protect them from attacks.
The newsletter sign-up is not active yet: nothing typed into it is sent.
Who else handles your data
Only the services named above, each for its own task: Stripe (payments), Keygen (licences), Resend (email), Sentry (error reports) and Cloudflare (website hosting). Some of them process data outside the European Economic Area; where they do, the transfer is protected by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Licence and purchase records are kept for as long as your licence exists and then for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Emails with us are kept for as long as they are useful to help you. Error reports are deleted after 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to limit how we use it or to receive it in a portable form, and you can object to its use. Write to support@ninja-hud.com; we answer within one month.
You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency or to the data protection authority of the country where you live.
Age
Ninja HUD is meant for adults who play poker where it is legal. We do not knowingly handle the data of anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If what the app or this website sends changes, we update this policy first, and the date at the top changes with it.
